I was professing my good deeds
as if they were special indeed.
And you asked,
"Are you a Bahá'i?"
and shattered my false pride.
A Bahá'i is one who trys his best,
who remembers to choose the correct path,
who knows right from error
and cheerfully accepts the opportunity to
prove the honored title.
A Bahá'i is happy, joyous, pious, a friend
A servant of God's Plan.
A gardener of mankind's future.
A laborer building the foundation
of the house of mankind.
Aware of the duty, the privilege, and honor
yet no one special.
